Powers - Fundraising

Fundraising has been going well!

My first idea was to simply ask friends and coworkers for donations. As a token of gratitude, they would receive 3 or 4 fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies. Who could resist?

So I left for work armed with a decorated collection box, flyers describing the project, and cookies. By the end of day 1 of fundraising I had raised $100 and paid back my cost of $10 for the cookies for a net $90.

I did the same project the next week for 1 day and earned an additional $95.

So the chocolate chip cookie project brought in $185 towards the quilts.
