Cain Family - Store

Hello everyone!!
This service project is yet another amazing opportunity to give back to those in need! I am also organizing two other benefits in my community right now...one for a woman that is fighting breast cancer, and one for an organization that provides health services to our homeless youth here in Portland, Or. Its been a lot of work, but the outcome looks very exciting!!
Because of these benefits, I have been networking in the community here with many people and businesses. When I first received the WRA service project email I became completely overwhelmed, as I have been so busy with the other two. After some prayer and meditation time I began seeking out the independant fabric stores around town. I didn't get very far, when I received a random phone call from a friends mother who was delighted to tell me that she had a whole bunch of quilting supplies that she needs to find a home for. WOW, huh!?!
Being a single parent, the fundraiser thing has been a bit difficult to pothesize. Well, I am a vehicle technician by trade....so I decided that I will be doing automotive repair work on the side to raise any funds I will need for other materials(that were not donated) and shipping!
